Spiritual Direction

A humble knowledge of thyself is a surer way to God than a deep search after learning. ~ Thomas à Kempis

Spiritual Direction - also known as spiritual companioning, explores a deeper relationship with our spirituality of being. Simply put, spiritual companioning is a listening model of care, a ministry of presence that enables others to feel safe enough to share their sacred stories. Let me walk with you in the age-old spiritual practice of discernment to foster a sacred remembering of who you really are...together.

I believe God is intrinsically involved in every area of our lives. Redemptive Listening makes room for you to listen between the lines of your life story, remember the deep longings of your soul, and discern how God might be inviting you to respond.

I will facilitate a Christ-centric and safe environment for respectful discussion for anyone seeking a more integrated spirituality of life. We will embrace moments of silence, centering prayer, and confidential reflection of your life story.

Engaging in spiritual conversations is often necessary to help navigate the nonlinear path of spiritual transformation. I will meet with you for one-hour sessions on a bi-monthly or monthly basis.

Spiritual Companioning is a healing modality, healing the deep recesses of the soul through listening-based spiritual care.

Laying The Foundation

Teach me to stop and listen,
Teach me to center down.
Teach me the use of silence,
Teach me where peace is found.
Teach me to know Your calling,
Teach me to search Your word.
Teach me to hear in silence,
Things I have never heard.

~ Ken Medema

"Angela’s kind nature allows you to navigate your spiritual struggles with life while asking grace filled questions. I had the pleasure of spending several months working with her and I’m so very thankful! Spiritual Direction can help open up so much more in your mind and connect with the Lord."
